| "Tlack, tlack, moo..." |
Cole greeted me at his bedroom door this morning with that phrase, "tlack, tlack, mooooo." Last night I read him "Click, Clack, Moo: Cows that Type" at bedtime and I guess the story stuck in his head! Too funny! It's one of my many favorite children's books, and also happens to be a Caldecott honor book...

Other than that, it's a fairly typical Monday here. I think that all I did yesterday was sleep! But we enjoyed a wonderful, sunny, not-TOO-hot time at the beach and now I'm going through the 1000 photos we took (just how many shots of Cole in the water DO I need?)
I took these photos of Cole and the shell on our last morning there. He was very inquisitive about all of the bugs and objects we discovered in the sand, but rather hesitant to touch them, as you might be able to tell from the look on his face in the 1st photo.
