| The big brother cake |
Sometimes all it takes is a little bribery...
In this case, we're talking about a chocolate cake, which I had planned as a ploy to help Cole appreciate his new role as a big brother. As it turns out he's adapted fairly well to the whole big brother thing (so far!!), but I still think that it never hurts to have a little chocolate on hand, just in case. From the look on Cole's face in these photos, I'm pretty sure he'd agree with me!

what a sweet big brother. And Yum, I need a reason to have a chocolate cake like that too! how about my friend Joanna had the SWEETEST baby girl. and that's a great cause for celebration :)

He is so cute...love his hair. What a way to enjoy his new title as big brother. Great NOW I really want me some chocolate ...m&m's would be a good choice. I am on a two week adkins type protien fest so I will just have to drool at your choc cake pics.

He's a darling big brother, if that counts for anything. It's so hard to realize that in 1 day their whole life changed and they did nothing to "deserve it" -- I still feel guilt about that.
