"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth..."
I'm not sure if that's really what Harper wanted for Christmas, but it's what she got!

Not sure if you can tell on that photo or not, but there are two little white (sharp!) nubs there at the bottom that represent teeth #1 and #2. The first one appeared late on Christmas Day (around 9:30 pm, when I was just starting to think about sleep -- ha! ha!), and the second one arrived the next morning. Thank goodness there was a 24-hour Walgreens open that happened to carry teething tablets, or I don't think either Harper or I would have made it through the night. Let's just say that Harper takes pain personally....and loudly, and continuously.

Other events during Torture Harper week included introducing her to her first vegetable (after all, she's 5 months old now!)....

...and a check-up at the doctor's office because she has bronchiolitis. Needless to say, it's been a week!

Poor little Harper Baby! My little Sammy got the same two teeth together, I feel your pain, we are getting number eight right now. Can you hear him at my feet?!?!

She still manages to be adorable and you still manage to take incredible pictures Joanna! I want to see some Baby Harper layouts!

LOL! Today's post is just what I needed! I have an 8.5 month old and I totally relate (although she has no teeth yet). I take it Harper didn't like her first taste of veggies? That picture is priceless! Hope she's feeling better soon! :)

About Us
Hi! I'm Joanna, author of this journal. My husband Mark and I are photographers in Asheville, North Carolina. Most recently we collaborated on a 12 week beginner photography course, the contents of which you can find
    • here.
    • The name of our company, Tuesday's Frog, is based on an almost wordless children's book about frogs that go flying on lily pads one night. We love it because it tells a story in pictures. Cole & Harper are our children, and frequent (though not always willing) photography subjects. So here you'll find not only the story of our lives, but of those we've photographed as well. We'd love to tell your story, too!
