Be afraid. Be very afraid.

When your 3-year-old makes the connection between what he's seeing in the viewfinder and the shutter release, you're really in trouble! Especially when he turns the camera on YOU! Thank goodness for small memory cards that fill up quickly...

I think it's awesome! My son is a year and a half give or take and he's already all over my collection of old cameras. Very strange that he even knows what they are since some old ones don't look anything like modern cameras shape-wise... I love, love, LOVE that you called his pictures Curly Q pictures!!! Encouraging them to be artists is our jobs since schools don't do it nearly enough anymore... Good for you!

It was only a matter a time. The child has been on the other side of the camera his entire life and now it's his turn to frame up some shots. Looks like he's doing a great job!

Did he seriously take those photos?
I would NEVER, under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES give Conner my camera. You're a good mom. :)

Joanna! The part that's making me afraid is that he's holding that camera without the strap securely around his neck! LOL! I am amazed that kids can understand the focus points at all! I have a hard time explaining it to adults!!

About Us
Hi! I'm Joanna, author of this journal. My husband Mark and I are photographers in Asheville, North Carolina. Most recently we collaborated on a 12 week beginner photography course, the contents of which you can find
    • here.
    • The name of our company, Tuesday's Frog, is based on an almost wordless children's book about frogs that go flying on lily pads one night. We love it because it tells a story in pictures. Cole & Harper are our children, and frequent (though not always willing) photography subjects. So here you'll find not only the story of our lives, but of those we've photographed as well. We'd love to tell your story, too!
