Yay for David Wiesner

The 2007 Caldecott and Newberry awards were announced yesterday. David Wiesner's Flotsam is this year's winner.

He has a special place in our hearts, being the author/illustrator of Tuesday as well.

    I love...no, ADORE children's books. I have tons and yet not any from this guy. I am on my way to Barnes and Noble today. I will check it out. Thanks for sharing.
