Heather & Jerry | the reception

Sneaking a smooch before heading to their downtown reception at On Broadway.

It wasn't all slow dancing, though. Oh no! You can probably guess what they're dancing to here.

Followed by some cake smashing!


Heather & Jerry made a special effort to honor the marriages of their friends and family -- from those just starting out and celebrating their first anniversary to Heather's grandparents, who are having a big party next month in honor of their 60th year of marriage. 60 years! I think that's awesome!


We're pretty sure the guests really enjoyed themselves at this reception!


Well, except for this poor woman, who got the heel of her shoe caught in one of the floor vents... I love that her friend is holding up her hand as if to say, "wait! I haven't taken the picture yet!" and quite possibly she might not forgive me for sharing this photo, either!

    Joanna, I think I saw an image of yours on the WPJA contest site??? WOW! His wedding looked like so much fun. THis was my first year as a "professional: photographer...you should check out my site--I'd love to talk shop sometime!
