Sorry I've been absent!

Getting ready for a wedding this weekend.
Getting ready for Vancouver next weekend.

Just for fun I checked the forecast for Vancouver. 50 degrees for the high. Um, not so fun. That's a full 30 degrees colder than here! Eek! I just might need these to get me through. I saw them yesterday at the discount shoe barn for $25 less than anyplace I've found online. (Hello to my darling husband who is at this point rolling his eyes.)

So anyway, that's what I've been busy with this week. How about you?

    we are soooo excited you are coming to Vancouver and as for the weather - umm, this week we got hit with a bad fall storm (just ignore that part)...we have a mix of sun and clouds for next week (with a bit of rain). See you next friday! :)

    i'm sure you know this, but take lots of batteries. the cold will suck the life out of them faster than you can imagine.

    Teehee! It's actually been around 32-35 here in the mornings. Yah, scraping-the-ice-off-the-windshield kind-of weather - blech! I think I need some of those boots too - they are AWESOME!
    I hope the wedding goes well this weekend - they look like a very fun couple!
    Can't wait to see you in a week! :)

    So jealous here! I grew up a couple of hours from Vancouver (on the USA side, Tacoma, Washington actually) and I LOVE that city! It is beautiful there, even if it is raining!

    This has been a week, Andrew got promoted (Yay!) and I finished all my homework last night (double Yay!)

    Bad news is one of our Swain County JV football players was seriously hurt last night. Happens to be the boyfriend of my best friends daughter. He sustained a badly broken arm that required surgery this morning. But we just went to visit him earlier and he is doing well and should be coming home tonight.

    Enjoy the wedding, they look to be a fun couple!

    Hi Joanna, I'm Nicole's sidekick at CSC4K Vancouver. It has cooled down quite a bit here, but October can be an absolutely beautiful month in BC. We're crossing our fingers for good weather at the end of this week. I'm looking forward to meeting you on Friday and as Nicole said we are all very exciting about your coming out our way!!! :) Mary
