in for her closeup
Officially 2.5 years old yesterday.









It is rare these days that she cooperates with the camera. So you may notice a few cheesy cracker crumbs around her mouth.
And yes, her eyes are that blue and that sparkly. Especially when we snuggle up for naptime and the sun is shining on them - then there's almost a little green in them. She is a good snuggler, and I love that about her. Because for the most part she's off and running and doing everything "myself! myself!" which take infinitely longer. So I treasure those brief moments when she's still and sweet and still my baby a little bit longer.
Hardly a baby anymore, really, but still our baby.

    Those pictures just warm my heart, Joanna. Harper is so beautiful! I love her beautiful eyes, those curls and that crunched up nose. Caylin does that a lot too and it's just too darling. ;) So glad she cooperated for you today because those pictures are priceless. I'm glad she's a snuggler, too. ;) Have a wonderful week!     she is such a beautiful little girl, and I can't believe how big she is getting! Those curls are sooooo cute.

    She looks like she has two different color eyes (one bluish and one hazel?)...but maybe that's a reflection of something behind you? looks pretty cool :)
