| seeking bliss |
I am curious about this book. Apparently Asheville is listed in it as a happy place. The Asheville Citizen-Times quotes the author as saying, “Asheville has earned a singular reputation as the kind of city that Americans move to seek their bliss." My favorite quote in the article, though, is from a local Ashevillian, who says, “I think Asheville is the happiest place because we have a high concentration of creative people.” He continues, “Being creative and knowing you are not alone in the world, that is enough for hope.”
I love that! Being creative is certainly a large part of our lives here. But I'm sure you can be happy in your creative home, too! |

This was on 20/20 Friday night, the program was about the happiest places in the world and the most unhappy. The report said that Asheville is the happiest place to live in the US!

I just have to say THANK YOU for the photography course on 2peas. I have taken community classes, read through books, bought DVDs and was almost at a loss because it just wasn't "clicking" with me and my crazy mind. I found your course this morning and it is just what I've been looking for. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
