August 5th

My mom just reminded me that I have a layout on the Designing With... calendar page for today. These photos were taken in Italy, oh so long ago (okay, so 3.5 years - before Harper, anyway.) I wonder where we'll go the next time we travel abroad -- or when that will be? So tell me, what vacations are you currently planning? Where would you love to go on a trip? Indulge my travel bug, will you?

I still desire a sick-free Tour of Italy, perhaps a trip to Barbados (sp) now that I have my passport (we were to go in 04, but when we went to board the plan in DC, the broken English attendant wouldn't let us with just our birth certificates (long story and terrible travel agent.)

This year... I would be just fine with a trip to the beach, any beach. Heck, even a lake would do. For that matter, I would even be ok with a river and a tube.

    How 'bout you?

I turned my calendar this morning and saw the page and immediately knew it was yours before I even looked for a name. :)

    Love it.

I long to go to Ireland. I wish I was independantly wealthy so we could spend several weeks awandering, exploring and soaking in the quaintness and gorgeous scenery.

    um, a trip?
i'm sorry, can you tell me what that is please?
unless you want to hear about my trip to the grocery, or my slow trip towards insanity, i don't think i can help you much with this topic.
    hehehe.

We spent 7 days in Puerto Rico visiting my husband's family in June. It was amazing! Our next trip is hopefully in December when we go back to Disneyland!

My husband and I took our dream vacation to Alaska this spring. We were ready to go back as soon as we stepped off the plane at home.

I dream of the day we can go back. I wish I could snap my fingers and a plane ticket and spending money would appear in my hand!

Just think - what would you wish for if you had a genie that would grant you the wish?

We're finally getting around to doing some travelling next month after Jerry returns from his monthlong training exercise and before he's deployed to Iraq. We're definitely going to Munchen for Octoberfest and we'll be visiting some castles and other exciting things in that area as well as making a trip to the Black Forest and seeing the Triberg Falls and Freiburg. We may be taking a quick trip to Paris and Disneyland Paris as well. We don't think that we'll make it to Italy this time around, but have it on our list to get to before we leave Europe!

Our 10th Anniversary is next year. We are planning a trip to England and France (mostly London and Paris). The only road block may be the dollar being beat up by the Euro (?spelling).

And then we hope to take our girls to Disney World in Florida (along with the Grandparents) sometime in the next 18 months. But this depends on our trip abroad.

About Us
Hi! I'm Joanna, author of this journal. My husband Mark and I are photographers in Asheville, North Carolina. Most recently we collaborated on a 12 week beginner photography course, the contents of which you can find
    • here.
    • The name of our company, Tuesday's Frog, is based on an almost wordless children's book about frogs that go flying on lily pads one night. We love it because it tells a story in pictures. Cole & Harper are our children, and frequent (though not always willing) photography subjects. So here you'll find not only the story of our lives, but of those we've photographed as well. We'd love to tell your story, too!
