Hello! I'm Joanna, author of this photo journal. My husband, Mark, and I are professional photographers in Asheville, North Carolina. The name of our company, Tuesday's Frog, is based on an almost-wordless children's book about mischievous frogs that go flying on lily pads one night. We love this book because the illustrations are truly the heart of the story. Speaking of mischievous, Cole & Harper are our children, and frequent, though not always willing, photography subjects. Here you'll find not only the stories of our everyday lives, but of those we've photographed in our capacity as professional photographers as well. Please feel free to browse the links above, check out the archives at the bottom of the journal for more photo stories, or subscribe and receive email updates of all our antics. Enjoy!

grape hyacinths
Found these in my other neighbor's yard...at this point you're probably just glad that I don't live next door to you, right?
The Jan/Feb issue of WNC Magazine is on newsstands now. The cover only gives a little hint (no offense intended to Mr. Vanderbilt, the cover model, but it is sort of a dreary cover for January) but inside you'll find a whole section dedicated to planning your wedding in Western North Carolina. Yay! Good stuff! See what I mean? It's much prettier inside! Okay, okay, to be honest the main reason I'm sharing the above pages with you is because I had the joy of photographing three of the bouquets pictured in the floral section.
The florists & corresponding bouquets are:
1. Beth at Studio Flora Diva, located in the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville 2. Pam at Flower Market, located just a few blocks past downtown Hendersonville 3. Janet at The Enchanted Florist, in Asheville - (this bouquet is actually from Ashlyn & Kevin's wedding this past September.)
All 3 of these ladies were wonderful to work with and would serve you well on your wedding day.
There's all kinds of other good stuff in the wedding section (and in the magazine as a whole - it is so well produced) so be sure to check it out!
