Reading the mail

A new Sesame Street magazine caught Harper's attention today.

CHOooChooooooo!

Cole, Harper, and I were out and about early this morning. Cole's big thrill of the day came when we happened to be first in line at the railroad crossing.

I ain't "lion"

Cole's first craft of the new year. There's more glue than lion showing, I think, but it's still cute. (Notice the scrapper's glue? I need to invest in Elmer's!)

Gulp... Day 1

I know, I know, typically "a" photo a day indicates one. But I thought it'd be fun to post a photo of each kid so then I can go back and compare in a year. We moved the dresser in our bedroom to a different location last night, and today as Cole was standing in front of the empty blue wall I realized that it was the perfect backdrop for photos! Plus, check out that perfectly coiffed hair - most mornings it's all gollywompus and standing on end, but today he woke up that way. Must be a sign of a good year to come or something. And then there's Harper in all her two-toothed glory. ; )
