Some days you just don’t feel like having your picture taken.
Especially when some people think you should be naked…
But mom and dad can always make things better….
…and a cozy blanket seems to help, too.
We met baby Maisy Paige today — what an adorable little bundle of joy she is! So alert and did I mention adorable! She is steadily gaining weight (almost 4 lbs) and holding her temperature, so she should be moved from her isolette to an open crib either today or tomorrow.
She definitely knows her mama’s voice already, too!

I love how connected these two were…right down to their feet! Brooke is on the left (she was awake for the whole shoot) and Anna is on the right (she was asleep almost the entire time.)

I lied…1 more, just to give you an idea of how tiny they really are. At 17 days old they weigh in at 5 lbs (Brooke) and 6 lbs (Anna). This is Brooke in her dad’s lap.
I should note that we did photograph them separately (and took candid photos while we were there, too) but this is the section I’m proofing right now so this is what you get to see. I could have easily photographed them all day! Such baby sweetness x 2. : )
